Founded in 1873 we have developed in more than 135 years from simple origins as linen mill to an efficient industrial enterprise. A history that has strongly been influenced by our customers, our suppliers as well as our employees.

Today J. Schilgen GmbH & Co. KG develops and manufactures individualised technical fabrics. Our products are used in widespread areas of industry, e.g. by automotive suppliers and energy producers, in building, construction and environmental protection as well as in form of reinforcement material for cutting edge composite applications.

Since 1873 our production is located in Emsdetten, Germany.
